I created a design inspired by past Larkin Soap Company packaging for the contest promoted by Larkinville. The restrictions were only that the design be single color. I chose to highlight the forgotten history of Larkin Square.

An Art Nouveau motif is appropriate nearly a century later as many involved in this movement worked to unite art and craft encompassing a variety of settings and media into one total work of art. My design features a Lily of the Valley, a flower that is associated with humility and when in bloom, the return of happiness.

These sentiments wholly embody the equity put into this area and the great joy it has brought to those who visit. Although the great administration building only exists in renderings and photographs, we are able to plant new seeds and watch life return once again.
